Rocket 8Fg Paracentesis Catheter with 8Fg blunt obturator or safety needle mounted catheter offers a purpose designed solution for routine Paracentesis procedures where the use of a blunt obturator needle with colour insertion safety indicator is preferred.
Rocket Safety Drain 8Fg Features
- CE marked, purpose designed device, designed specifically for paracentesis.
- One way valve designed to prevent entrainment of air or leakage of fluid after removal of the needle post insertion.
- Needle position confirmed by colour indicator. During insertion, the needle hub window will show RED to indicate the sprung obturator is retracted and the needle tip is exposed and GREEN to show the to indicate the obturator is fully forward.
